Chesapeake College: A major post-secondary educational resource for the Mid-Shore, Chesapeake College offers a comprehensive array of degree, non-degree and adult continuing education courses.  Courses are available on the main and satellite campuses and off-campus at customer sites to fulfill individual and group needs.

The Manufacturing Training Center, a member of the Maryland Advanced Technology Center, is located on the Chesapeake College campus.  It is made up of well-equipped laboratories for technical skills training.  These include:
  • Traditional manual machine shop.
  • CNC lab with machining and turning centers.
  • Metrology lab with CMM, comparitor, tools and gauges.
  • Injection Molding lab.
  • Computer CAD lab with AutoCAD 2000 and MasterCAD.
  • Electronic/Electric lab.
  • HVAC lab.
  • Welding lab (arc, gas, MIG, TIG).
  • Auto lab.
