Swim in the New Year 2002
with Terrapin Masters

A New Year's Eve fun swim consisting of 2002 yards x 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 (your choice)!
The distance can be swum in any manner:  in intervals, as one continuous swim, as a workout, or with equipment.
 Date: December 31, 2001 10AM-4PM. (You must finish by 3:30PM.)
 Location: Campus Recreation Facility pool at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.

 Entries: Entries should be mailed to:

and should be postmarked by December 8, 2001 to guarantee a t-shirt.
 Seeding: Swimmers will be assigned to a lane according to the interval time on their entry form.
 Fees: $6 entry fee (plus $15 is you want a custom-designed t-shirt).
Checks should be made payable to: Terrapin Masters Swim Club.
Deck entrants will be charged $8.
 Facility: Campus Recreation Facility features 2 indoor pools: one 50 meter pool and a 25 yard instructional pool. Parking is available in lot 2 behind the facility.
 Directions: . From I-95 (Capitol Beltway) take Route 1 South (towards College Park).
. Turn right on University Boulevard (Route 193) heading west.
. Turn left on Stadium Drive.
. Turn right on Valley Drive from the circle (3/4 of the way).
. After 50 yards (at the fork in the road), bear left and go down the hill into Lot 2.
. The facility is on your right.

AS A CONDITION OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE MASTERS SWIMMING PROGRAM OR ANY ACTIVITIES INCIDENT THERETO, I HEREBY WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIMS FOR LOSS AND DAMAGES, INCLUDING ALL CLAIMS FOR LOSS AND DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, ACTIVE OR PASSIVE, OF THE FOLLOWING: United States Masters Swimming, Inc., the local Masters Swimming committees, the clubs, host facilities, meet sponsors, meet committees, or any individuals officiating at the meets or supervising such activities, as a condition of my participation in Masters Swimming. In addition, I agree to abide by and be governed by the rules of USMS."
